To give tajassum to something is to give it a body. To take what exists only as an idea and make it physical, so it can be seen, and stood in front of, and judged.

In a marble shop you hold a sample the size of your hand and try to picture it across a whole floor. That picture lives only in your head, and it is usually wrong. It is also the moment you decide how to spend a great deal of money.
